What You Will Learn

This course is organized into six modules. Each builds on the one before it, so working through them in order will serve you best.

1. Arithmetic — whole numbers, fractions, decimals, rounding, and percentages: the number sense every later calculation depends on.
2. Units of Measurement & Conversions — the metric system, household measurements, and how to convert confidently between units.
3. Ratios, Proportions & Dimensional Analysis — setting up and solving clinical problems by letting the units guide the arrangement.
4. Dosage Calculations — oral and liquid medications, weight-based dosing, and pediatric dosing.
5. IV & Infusion Calculations — IV medications, flow rates, drip rates, and infusion time.
6. Return & Reinforce — targeted review and mixed practice to consolidate everything and check your understanding before you finish.
